Artificial Intelligence is used in our society and is slowly and progressively becoming more relevant. The use of Artificial Intelligence in technology is very important and is gaining traction in areas such as production of goods and as well as the delivery of goods. Artificial Intelligence is also used in the personification of various online services such as Instagram or other social media platforms as well as Netflix or other streaming platforms to give you certain content based on your preferences.

Problems AI can solve

Artificial Intelligence can solve many problems we face in our current world or at least come up with a temporary solution such the climate crisis, the growth in population the lack of affordable housing or the lack of jobs available for graduating students and that is just scratching the surface of the limitless potential of Artificial Intelligence the possibilities are truly endless

This quote supports the idea that artificial intelligence is rapidly growing and as it progresses it will only become better at what it is meant to do. As well as it really shows how Artificial Intelligence is such a source of raw potential that could be used to change the world in such good ways but how it could also have undesired effects.

In all Artificial Intelligence is and will be used in society to a great extent no matter which path we take as a society its use will affect the lives of all people in a way some small some massive.

It Takes Jobs

While some could argue that artificial intelligence will take jobs. The first jobs that would be replaced by AI would be jobs that require very little brain power. And in addition the implementation of artificial intelligence will open tons of doors and allow tons of new jobs that could even out way the initial loss of jobs. Also these jobs would require more education which we should always strive for.

Costs for implementation

While it’s true that lots of AI software costs tons of money to purchase it’s also true that the more the industry evolves the cheaper it will become. Also it may seem like a difficult task but no matter what people will use AI to make life easier and to solve problems. When it comes to implementing AI it’s not like we suddenly have to pay a ton of money it’s a slow process and most businesses will adapt to use it by themselves.

It will give more power to Big Companies

It is true that AI can be expensive and it will most likely be used more by companies than individuals. and sure companies will use AI in order to pay as little people as possible. But AI much like other technological advances will trickle down to the point where we can use it, as individuals, a lot more. And the more we use AI the better it will become even if big companies abuse AI, laws surrounding AI will also be created to keep them in check.

Risk of Overtaking Humanity

I put this here because a lot of people are actually threatened by AI as irrational as it is. Artificial intelligence will never take over humanity for one big reason an AI program can be controlled and once it is set it will not change unless intentional meaning something that’s being manufactured will not be able to change past it’s set code.

Artificial intelligence by definition is the development of computer programs that can do things that were seen as only possible by human intelligence. This raises questions however such as how will it affect our privacy and how can AI make mistakes.

In conclusion AI has many promises and concerns but how it will influence us depends on how we use it and how we respond to it.
